Parish Events

- Advent by Candlelight
  
  All the women of the parish gather together for a night of candlelit fellowship. Advent by Candlelight is an event that is designed to help shift our focus from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season to a deeper awareness of what the season is about - the birth of Jesus!
- Advent by Taillight
  
  The men of Incarnate Word gather for a night of live music, outdoor worship, BBQ cookout, bonfire and drinks. This event is meant for the men of IW to gather and build community ahead of the busy holiday season.
- Blood Drives
  
  Red Cross blood drives, sponsored by our Knights of Columbus, are scheduled three times year and are held in Bollinger Hall. Volunteers are needed for setup, hospitality, and cleanup.
- Campus Cleanup Work Days
  
  The parish and Gardening Angels Ministry organizes two Campus Cleanup Work Days throughout the year - in the spring and fall. This is a great event to bring the whole family!
  
  Volunteers come and help get the parish grounds cleaned up. Jobs include mulching, weeding, trimming plants and collecting trash. Volunteer spots will be posted here soon.
- Divine Mercy
  
  This event is held the Second Sunday of Easter.
  Volunteers help greet guests and facilitate the event which includes Adoration, Benediction, and Confession.
- Donut Sundays
  
  Donut Sundays are sponsored by Parish Council and happen multiple times a year. During the scheduled weekend, volunteers are needed after the weekend Masses to help hand out donuts and coffee. Volunteers are needed to setup, serve as hospitality, and clearn up from the event.
- Fish Fry
  
  Join us each Friday night during Lent in Bollinger Hall from 4-7pm for fish and fellowship. To learn more about the menu click HERE. Volunteers are needed for cleanup. Volunteer opportunities will be posted here soon.
- Golf Tournament
  
  The annual golf tournament, silent auction, and lunch held the Friday after Memorial Day benefits the parish school and facilities. More details, sponsorship, and volunteer opportunities will be published as the event nears.
- Trivia Night
  
  Trivia Night is an annual event held in the Kent Center that benefits the IW Inclusion Program.
  
  Volunteers are needed to help help set up tables and serve as table runners and score keepers. This event is usually held in January.
- Vacation Bible School
  
  Incarnate Word Catholic Church hosts Vacation Bible School each summer for children age 4 to exiting Kindergarten (children must be fully toilet-trained). Throughout the week children will enjoy various Catholic faith formation activities, songs, crafts and games.
  Adult coordinator and Junior Helper volunteers are needed during the week.

- Wordstock
  
  Wordstock is an annual night of music, food and fun. Music is provided by Adam Bitter & Friends and food is provided by Knights of Columbus. Volunteers are needed for setup and cleanup.
