Hospitality and Greeters

Each of us is called to Make God's Love Visible to those joining us for Mass. You may not realize it, but every time you smile and make another parishioner feel welcome, you are already doing it! Incarnate Word has a reputation for being a very friendly parish where visitors feel welcome and members have a sense of belonging.

If you have the gift of hospitality, we'd love for you to join us in any of the following ways:

Greeters: Arrive 20 minutes before Mass begins to greet parishioners and guests. Help with distributing song sheets and MagnifiKids. This is a great opportunity for young families to serve together!

Ushers: Same as Greeters but serve as the lead for Mass and address needs of the congregation including directing the Communion line, managing the collection, and stay after Mass to tidy up and prepare for the next service. A complete list of the duties and responsibilities can be found HERE.

Parking Lot Assistants: Our parking lot can be quite full during holiday Masses and special events. Help parishioners and guests have a comfortable experience, assist with traffic flow, and support those in need of physical assistance accessing the church. To volunteer click HERE.
